Our Cantoni Modern Expansion Table has a sleek and sophisticated design and is handcrafted of the finest solid hardwood and hand-rubbed finishes to achieve a special look that is all your own. A 1 1/2" thick table top opens effortlessly with wooden expansion slides. This table comes standard with a clean rectangular table top and mission edge. Matching dining chairs and servers are available to complete the collection.

We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.
