Mindelo High Adirondack Chair

Our bedroom furniture was delivered yesterday and it is absolutely beautiful! We are so very happy with the style, color of stain, and the workmanship! Allen did a wonderful job getting it upstairs with my husband's help. Thank you for all your assistance along the way! We have highly recommended Countryside Amish to friends. The whole room has a different and more beautiful feel to it!

These Chairs are great. They are really made sturdy. They should last 2 lifetimes. The delivery was excellent, with not a scratch on anything I bought.

You guys get plenty of positive reviews, and I will add mine. We used our new table (set for 10) last weekend, and I am thrilled with how easily the leaves come in and out (nice smooth mechanism), and how well they fit and blend (I didn't use a tablecloth - just placemats). The overall quality is fantastic, and the price extremely reasonable. I would recommend the 48" wide table to others because it can seat two at each end.

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.) STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably. FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone. COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your assistance in ordering and picking the wood choice for our corner china cabinet. I couldn't be happier with it. We had company over this weekend and they were complimentary of the workmanship and the match to our other cabinets. It was very nice of you to bring it inside for us as well.
