I was looking for a smaller, cedar chest with a simple, minimalist design. The Jonas chest is perfect for my small office/yoga room. What a reminder of true craftsmanship -this is truly a beautiful desk. The wood is rich and warm, and smooth as silk. I'm so glad I came across Countryside Amish furniture. I really disliked the manufactured wood and veneers that seem to be everywhere these days. The cost and wait were well worth it for the quality.
