Rustic Bed for Mission or Modern Interior
The Lunada Bed is built using mortise and tenon joinery to ensure strength and durability. Additionally, each slat is dovetailed into the side rails using a USA-made cast aluminum bracket. For added mattress and box spring support, solid-wood posts are affixed to the center slats according to bed size. Ordering furniture without seeing it in person requires a bit of faith. Countryside was recommended to me by my sister, her dining table turned out great. I was on the hunt for the perfect mid-century bedroom set that would be built to last. I settled on the Cove City very quickly but I needed help when it came to wood and stain choice. Lauren was so patient with my inquiries, I even got 10 different stain samples. She was there every step of the way to answer my questions about wood grain, stain undertones, and all things design. The end result is a GORGEOUS set that perfectly suits our style. The wait is well worth it. We received our Wyndham Slat Quartersawn White Oak king bed this week. My wife and I couldn't be happier! It is an absolute work of art! We can't get over how wonderful it looks in our bedroom. She is beyond pleased and thankful that I announced to her one day that I ordered it (after waiting three years from our initial interest in the bed). The stain samples you sent on the actual wood we wanted to use were a huge help to match our other bedroom pieces, resulting in the bed matching perfectly!!! What was even more helpful is you were able to accommodate our special floor clearance needs for the side rails due to the raised metal frame platform we use under our mattress. Your craftsmen were spot-on and it fits around the frame like a glove. Please tell your builders for us that they are incredibly talented. Delivery was made exactly as you indicated. The delivery men were extremely professional, courteous, and very helpful in putting our bedroom back together. There is one item we regret, however: waiting far too long to order! I will never second-guess our decision to order from your company for anything in the future. While we WANT everything you offer, the next time we NEED a piece, you will be our first, second, and third considerations.

We couldn't be more delighted with our Cannonball bed from Countryside Amish Furniture. The process from ordering, getting finish samples, and delivery was professional and courteous and as advertised. The bed itself is beautifully constructed, just the right height and solid-the finish is so beautiful. Truly a piece of furniture for generations to come.
