The chairs matched the table perfectly. The table is 48 years old and is made of solid wood and your chairs look like they were always a part of the set. You guys get plenty of positive reviews, and I will add mine. We used our new table (set for 10) last weekend, and I am thrilled with how easily the leaves come in and out (nice smooth mechanism), and how well they fit and blend (I didn't use a tablecloth - just placemats). The overall quality is fantastic, and the price extremely reasonable. I would recommend the 48" wide table to others because it can seat two at each end.
